At Inyama, we make authentic South African biltong using only 100% pasture-fed beef from regenerative farms in Devon. Our biltong is handcrafted in small batches right here in the South West, with a focus on quality, sustainability, and proper flavour.
Our name – Inyama – means "meat" in Zulu, and our roots run deep. We started this journey with a simple mission: to make the kind of biltong we missed from home – the real stuff. No added sugar, no MSG, and definitely no imported meat from who-knows-where.

What Makes Our Biltong Different?
Unlike most biltong on the UK market, we only use locally sourced, regeneratively farmed beef – raised on diverse pasture in Devon. This isn’t just grass-fed beef – it’s pasture-fed start to finish, the way nature intended. Our cattle graze freely on grasses, herbs, and legumes that improve soil health, biodiversity, and carbon capture.
We blend traditional South African drying methods with clean, simple ingredients to create a protein-rich, low-carb snack that’s perfect for active lifestyles, gym-goers, hikers, or anyone who wants to eat well without compromise.
